Budslau Fest in Myadel District

Thousands of pilgrims annually gather for the Catholic Budslau Fest which takes place in Myadel District on 2 July. Today Budslau is an important pastoral center and a place of worship. Built in 1767, the Budslau Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary became the national sanctuary that houses the country’s patron shrine - the Icon of the Mother of God of Budslau. In multi-confessional Belarus, Budslau hosts people of all Christian faiths.
