Mogilev invites tourists to take a stroll with Emperor Nicholas II
Nicholas II had many ties with Mogilev. In August 1915, Stavka (the high command of the Armed Forces in the Russian Empire) was re-located from Baranovichi to Mogilev. Thus Mogilev, we can say, became a temporary residence of the Tsar family. The Emperor loved to make walks on foot or by car around the city and its surroundings.
