MINSK, 30 December (BelTA) – Nesvizh Palace will offer guided tours with elements of adventure themed around the history of the Radziwill family in January 2017, BelTA learned from the administration of the national museum.
Nesvizh Palace will invite its visitors to immerse themselves into the atmosphere of 18th-century celebrations and entertainments in the first days of the year, from 2 to 8 January 2017. Next year, the palace will celebrate the anniversary of its owner Prince Michal Kazimierz Radziwill, Hetman of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
Those who decide to join the tours will have an opportunity to get acquainted with his wife Princess Franciszka Urszula Radziwill and their children Prince Karol Stanislaw Radziwill and Theophile Constance who have prepared gifts and best wishes for their guests. For instance, children will be invited to paint a gift at a special workshop at the palace.
Visitors will also be invited to enjoy performances with a trained bear and take part in open-air games and entertainments at the Christmas tree.
Nesvizh Palace, the former residence of the Radziwill family, is featured on the UNESCO World Heritage List. With its above-ground buildings, dungeons and vaults, it is a major tourist attraction in Belarus.
