Koniki festival in David-Gorodok

The New Year folk festival Koniki took place in David-Gorodok on 13 January. It started by daylight and ended after midnight. Groups of mummers went from house to house, wished Happy Kolyada to everyone, and were treated with something yummy.

The Stolin District Executive Committee has launched a campaign to include Koniki in the national list of the intangible historical and cultural heritage.
