MINSK, 21 April (BelTA) – Vietnam hopes to bolster the trade and economic ties with Belarus, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Belarus Le Anh told BelTA. The diplomat was invited to the Oval Hall where Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko delivered his State of the Nation Address on 21 April, BelTA informs.
The diplomat remarked that in his address the head of state paid much attention to the diversification of export, the expansion of Belarus’ foreign trade. “Belarus is one of the trade and economic partners of Vietnam,” Le Anh said. “We are ready to use the potential of the mutual exchange of goods,” he added.
The diplomat pointed out the fact that the current stage development is a very complicated period in the global economy and this pertains to virtually all countries, including Vietnam and Belarus. “In view of the global crisis, our countries should do their best to help and complement each other,” the Ambassador is convinced. In his opinion, there is a huge potential for more efficient contacts between Belarus and Vietnam.
