MOSCOW, 18 November (BelTA) – Vice Premier of Belarus Yuri Nazarov has held talks with Russian Vice Premiers Alexander Novak and Alexei Overchuk, BelTA learned from the website of the Russian government.
“The negotiations focused on bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Russia in the oil sector and the possibility of using the Russian infrastructure for the export of Belarusian oil products,” the Russian government said.
Alexander Novak said that Russian companies fulfill their obligations to supply oil to the Belarusian refineries in full. “In accordance with our agreements, Russian companies continue stable oil supplies on long-term and mutually beneficial conditions,” he said. According to Alexander Novak, such supply conditions are beneficial for both Russia and Belarus.
“Creating economic conditions for the export of Belarusian oil products using Russian infrastructure remains on the agenda,” the government said.
