Turkish investors mull over chemical production in Belarus

MINSK, 22 August (BelTA) - Turkish investors are showing interest in launching a manufacturing project in the chemical industry in Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of Minsk Free Economic Zone.

Head of the FEZ Minsk Administration Anatoly Buben and President of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association MUSIAD Belarus Mikail Caliskan discussed promising business projects and the most important cooperation issues during a business meeting in Minsk.

Turkiye is interested in launching production in the chemical industry in Belarus and is ready to consider other areas of business. In turn, Anatoly Buben presented the potential of the free economic zone and praised the most comfortable conditions for doing business in Minsk Oblast.

The MUSIAD Association has 165 representative offices. The organization includes more than 60,000 Turkish companies that seek to develop new markets and cooperation in trade, industry, finance and investment.

During the international exhibition MUSIAD EXPO at the Belarusian-Turkish investment forum in Istanbul on 5 November 2022, the FEZ Minsk Administration and MUSIAD signed a memorandum. The document is aimed at expanding and developing bilateral trade and investment cooperation.
