Turkey views Belarus as strategic partner in logistics

MINSK, 28 July (BelTA) – Turkey regards Belarus as a strategic partner in logistics, Chairman of the Board of CaG Logistics Yilmaz Soycan told the media ahead of the 14th session of the Belarusian-Turkish Business Council, BelTA has learned.

“Turkey views Belarus as a global strategic partner in logistics. We think that this partnership will improve logistics services and will enable Turkey to advance into the markets of Russia, Kazakhstan, and Lithuania. We plan to help Belarus become a regional logistics hub. We will make every effort to achieve this goal,” Yilmaz Soycan said.

The Belarusian-Turkish Business Council is to discuss the prospects for bilateral trade, economic, and investment cooperation, the promotion of Belarusian products in Turkey, the track record of the leading Turkish companies in Belarus, and the export potential of both countries. The sides are also expected to review Turkey’s experience in supporting small and medium-sized business. There are plans to conduct negotiations between nearly 100 Belarusian and Turkish companies.
