MINSK, 24 November (BelTA) – Trade between Belarus and Krasnodar Territory of Russia exceeded $385 million in January-September 2022, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said as he met with Governor of Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratyev in Sochi on 24 November, BelTA has learned.
"Today we will talk not so much about the results as about the prospects. In terms of results, we have something to boast about. Last year, our trade approached $350 million. In January-September of this year we hit $385.5 million having surpassed last year’s figure,” Roman Golovchenko noted.
"Both Belarusian exports to Krasnodar Territory and our imports from this region are growing," the prime minister said. "Your visits to Belarus in February and June of this year also had a great impact on this."
In January-September 2022, the trade between Belarus and Russia’s Krasnodar Territory totaled $385.5 million, which was up by 63.8% year-on-year. Exports came at $268 million (up by 57.6%), imports - $117.5 million (up by 79.8%). Belarus had a trade surplus of $150.5 million.
