MINSK, 27 March (BelTA) – The trade between the Republic of Adygea of Russia and enterprises affiliated with the Industry Ministry of Belarus rose by 15% in 2023, the press service of the Industry Ministry told BelTA.

First Deputy Industry Minister Aleksandr Ogorodnikov held negotiations with the delegation of the Republic of Adygea led by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Mahmoud Tlekhas to discuss topical issues on the bilateral agenda. The parties reaffirmed their interest in promoting mutually beneficial cooperation. The delegation has already visited a number of industrial enterprises and held a series of talks.

During the meeting, the delegation told their Belarusian counterparts about the creation of the Enem Industrial Park in Adygea and invited Belarusian enterprises to launch their operations there.

In 2023 the trade between enterprises affiliated with the Industry Ministry and the Republic of Adygea expanded by 15% over 2022. Belarus’ export rose by 15%. Yet, the actual trade is bigger, since official statistics do not take into account the products supplied through the commodity distribution network. Belarusian passenger elevators, freight and agricultural machinery, and other goods are well known in Adygea.
