MINSK, 2 May (BelTA) – Leading business associations will take part in the Belarusian-Italian economic forum on expanding cooperation opportunities in Milan on 3 May, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
Belarus will be represented by Evgeny Shestakov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, co-chairman of the Belarusian-Italian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation. Representatives of leading business associations, business circles, the banking industries of Belarus and Italy, and representatives of the regions of the two countries are expected to take part in the forum.
The forum is timed to the 25th anniversary since Belarus-Italy diplomatic relations were established. It has been organized by the embassy of Belarus in Italy and the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with assistance of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation as well as the Italian Economic Development Ministry, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE), Intesa Sanpaolo Bank, and Belagroprombank.
