MINSK, 30 January (BelTA) – The tariff on the transit of Russian oil and oil products across Belarus will be raised by more than 6% as from 1 February, BelTA learned from Belarusian Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Minister Vladimir Koltovich on 30 January.
According to the source, negotiations with Russian colleagues have produced no results. This is why the part of the instruction that specifies the procedure for raising oil transit tariffs comes into force, the official noted. The tariff needs to be raised by the average annual inflation specified by Russian Federation projections plus three percentage points. Vladimir Koltovich added that the sides have certain differences of opinion regarding the definition of the tariff.
