MINSK, 14 August (BelTA) - Belarus Deputy Healthcare Minister Vyacheslav Shilo met with his Syrian counterpart Habib Abboud in Minsk, according to the Healthcare Ministry.

“During the meeting the parties discussed possible cooperation with the Belarusian Prosthetic and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Center. Its Director General Vladimir Kalevich told about its structure and new production technologies,” the ministry informed.

There is also interest in baby food. The guest was shown the products made by OAO Bellakt and OAO Orsha Meat Canning Plant.

This is the first time Habib Abboud is in Belarus on a business visit. He said he was impressed by what he saw. All medical institutions and pharmaceutical companies, which the delegation has visited, meet the world standards.
