MINSK, 20 May (BelTA) – Swedish companies are interested in cooperation with Belarus, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden to Belarus Martin Aberg said at the opening of the 1st international specialized exposition Green House which is held during the 13th national ecological forum in Minsk on 20 May, BelTA has learned.
“About 15 Swedish companies have arrived in Belarus. There are no concrete projects yet, representatives of delegations are, first of all, interested in the business climate and legislation of your country. Our companies are interested in cooperation,” Martin Aberg noted.
In his words, the Swedish delegation is eager to discuss issues relating to ecology and other areas. “Representatives of various companies specializing in the manufacture of equipment, education projects have arrived in Belarus. We also have huge experience in “green technologies”, speakers for our companies SWEP, SSAB, Modern Streetlight hold a seminar as part of the Green House exposition on 20 May,” the Ambassador said.
The international exposition Green House is a platform for the presentation of innovative technologies in the protection of the environmental and people’s health from negative impact.
The national ecological forum is a mass event primarily meant to consolidate and invigorate all the population strata for the sake of resolving environmental protection problems and rational use of natural resources. The forum is designed to raise the ecological awareness of individuals and promote the principles of sustainable use of natural resources.
