MINSK, 21 September (BelTA) – South Korean President Park Geun-hye praised the cooperation with Belarus in information technology as she received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to South Korea Andrei Popkov, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Park Geun-hye said she greatly appreciates the Belarusian-South Korean IT projects and outlined the prospects for the expansion of mutual trade and investments, taking into account the capacities of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The parties exchanged views on the current status and development prospects of the relations between Belarus and South Korea and cooperation in trade, economy, science and information technology. They also discussed a number of topical issues on the international agenda, including the situation on the Korean peninsula.
