MINSK, 24 September (BelTA) - The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will send another batch of Azeri Light oil to Belarus, according to Interfax-Azerbaijan.
“In a day or two, perhaps tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, we will send another tanker with Azerbaijani oil of about 95,000 tonnes from Turkey’s Ceyhan to Belarus," said Ibragim Akhmedov, Deputy Head of the PR Department at SOCAR. The tanker is expected to leave Ceyhan before the end of this month, he noted.
“There are no agreements with Belneftekhim for October,” Ibragim Akhmedov added.
The oil will be delivered to Mozyr Oil Refinery via the Yuzhny port in Odessa, the Belneftekhim concern told the media.
Belneftekhim Chairman Andrei Rybakov was quoted as saying that SOCAR may deliver up to 1 million tonnes of oil to Belarus in 2020.
