MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) - Slovenian companies are interested in cooperation with Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
“During the working visit to Slovenia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Slovenia and Hungary, Alexander Khainovsky held a series of meetings with senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country. The parties discussed the development of bilateral economic and political ties, cooperation between the two countries in international and regional organizations. Alexander Khainovsky also met with representatives of the Slovenian companies interested in developing cooperation with Belarus,” the press service noted.
At the invitation of Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia Karl Erjavec, the Belarusian Ambassador, took part in the 11th annual International Strategic Forum on 5-6 September. This year, the main themes of the forum were the EU development after Brexit, development of common responses of the European countries to modern challenges, including the migration crisis, close cooperation between politicians and economic operators for the sake of further development.
On 5 September Ambassador Alexander Khainovsky took part in a ceremony dedicated to the introduction and the commencement of the activities of Honorary Consul of Belarus in Slovenia Janez Skrabec, CEO of Riko.
