MINSK, 19 January (BelTA) - Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units increased the sales of tractors by 1.5 times in 2015, BelTA learned from the company.
“In 2015 Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units increased the sales of tractors by 45.7% as against 2014. All in all, last year the plant sold domestically and internationally over 2,400 tractors and utility vehicles under the Belarus brand. For comparison: in 2014 the plant sold 1,648 vehicles,” the plant stressed.
In 2015 the plant exported tractors to 26 countries. Among the consumers were both traditional markets like CIS countries, Germany, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Nicaragua and also new ones such as Canada, Mauritania, Sweden, Netherlands.
“In 2015 we worked actively on promoting our tractors to new promising markets. For example, in Q3 we provided tractors for participation in the international exhibitions and promo events in Egypt and Australia. Besides, at the International Agricultural Exhibition for Africa and the Middle East SAHARA-2015 in Egypt our plant presented a new model: Belarus- 350 which has been designed specifically for South African and Middle Eastern countries,” the plant noted.
Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units produces component parts for tractors Belarus. In 2007 the plant started making compact tractors of the Belarus-320 series. At present the company’s manufacturing program includes 9 basic models of tractors with horse power from 30hp to 62hp.
