MINSK, 10 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is developing strategic dialogue with business to facilitate exports, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov said at the Export League forum in Minsk on 10 December, BelTA learned.
“The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, unlike the foreign policy departments of many countries, is directly engaged in promoting trade in goods and services with partners abroad. We maintain contact with those who produce goods that are in demand in foreign markets, those who sell them, who provide transportation, logistics, and financing services. We intend to continue to develop a strategic dialogue with our business to achieve our common goal - to ensure the stability of our state, to strengthen the economic foundation. The ministry will do everything to help exporters work in foreign markets. All our embassies are looking forward to your proposals, the boldest ideas and initiatives,” Maksim Ryzhenkov noted.
He emphasized that the main measure of success of joint work of business and government is the increase in foreign trade of goods and services. “This is our mutual interest. We are ready to work closely with business on this front,” the minister emphasized.
“The world is in a state of very serious turbulence, which affects, among other things, trade and economic, financial relations between states. Today it is more difficult to build chains to work in foreign markets; there are problems with payments, transfers, cargo delivery, logistics. We are ready to help everyone to circumvent all these problems as comfortably and flexibly as possible,” Maksim Ryzhenkov noted.
The National Marketing Center of Belarus is the organizer of the Export League forum. The event has become a unique platform for Belarusian exporters to get answers to questions from leading experts. The theme of the forum is Business Pivot to the East. The event is a great opportunity for exporters to get practical information necessary for making the right business decisions. The main topic for the panel discussion is the impact of global economic trends on Belarus.
The forum runs three sections. The first one focuses on practical cases related to logistics, financial and legal support of foreign trade transactions. Special attention is given to promising areas for business cooperation with China and the conditions of access to the market of this country, successful experience and risk minimization when concluding export and import contracts. The second section is about e-commerce and digitalization of foreign trade services. The third section provides for discussion of current trends in marketing research, including the use of artificial intelligence to optimize business processes.
