MOSCOW, 14 March (BelTA) – Russia’s Rostov-on-Don shows interest in Belarusian electro-buses, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.
The deliveries were discussed during a meeting between the head of the Rostov-on-Don Office of the Belarusian Embassy Vladimir Neronsky and Deputy Head of the Rostov-on-Don Administration Aleksei Logvinenko and the head of foreign relations and inter-municipal cooperation Maria Krylosova and director of the land property relations Yelena Serova. “The parties discussed the development of economic ties, including as part of the Minsk and Rostov-on-Don twinning agreement. Rostov-on-Don would like Belarusian machine-building enterprises to take part in the projects to upgrade the city passenger transport fleet. The city is especially interested in electro-buses and trolleybuses produced by Belkommunmash.
Possible participation of Belarus in road construction projects, and also in the projects to build social facilities and houses was also on the agenda of the meeting.
