VLADIVOSTOK, 13 April (BelTA) - Primorsky Krai of Russia will buy 21 BelAZ trucks from Belarus in 2022, Governor of Russia’s Primorsky Krai Oleg Kozhemyako said as he met with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko in Vladivostok on 13 April, BelTA has learned.
“This year we will buy 21 BelAZ trucks for RUB3 billion. We need these trucks in our open pits,” said Oleg Kozhemyako.
According to him, Belarusian consumer goods, namely clothing and furniture, are particularly popular in Primorye. Local farmers and industrialists successfully use Belarusian machinery for various purposes, the governor added.
Primorsky Krai also buys Belarusian elevators. The region plans to replace more than 1,300 elevators by 2030. “This year we will buy some 80-100 Mogilev elevators,” said Oleg Kozhemyako.
Belarus imports seafood and boric acid from Primorski Krai.
