MINSK, 31 October (BelTA) – Representatives of the Russian mass media have arrived in Belarus to take part in the press tour, titled as Important Issues of Cooperation of Minsk Oblast with Russian Regions. The press tour will last through 3 November, BelTA has learned.
Among the participants of the press tour are members of the Union State publishing houses, news agencies, printed and electronic mass media from Moscow, St Petersburg, Kaliningrad Oblast, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Bryansk Oblast and other oblasts. The delegation comprises about 30 people.
The guests are expected to visit Slutskiye Poyasa Company, Slutsk Creamery, Slutsk State College, Zhodino bakery Borisovkhlebprom, BelAZ, Belkommunmash.
The guests will also get familiar with the infrastructure and social facilities of the agro-town of Kurkovo, Smolevichi District. Journalists will be taken on a tour along the alley of lamps in Zhodino. On the way back to Moscow mass media representatives will make a stop in Polotsk. On 1 November the participants of the press tour will meet with Minsk Oblast Chairman Anatoly Isachenko.
The event is organized by the Union State Permanent Committee, the National Press Center and the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee.
