MINSK, 29 September (BelTA) – Russian business is showing interest in expanding cooperation with companies of the Belarusian light industry, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian state light industry concern Bellegprom following the working trip of the company’s delegation to Moscow.
“The biggest Russian companies Vostok Service, Parizhskaya Kommuna, and Vyazma Leather Plant are interested in purchasing Belarusian leather and semi-products, while Gulliver and Co brand is ready to make children's apparel at Belarusian companies. Cooperation areas in supplies to the Chinese market (home textiles, children’s apparel, etc.) have been outlined with the management of RUSFAIR GROUP,” the press service said.
Representatives of the company are expected to visit Belarus to get familiar with Belarusian companies.
Ways to deepen cooperation between the companies of the two countries, adopt unified measures to protect domestic market, and participate in state procurement were discussed at the meeting with representatives of the department of light industry and forest sector of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of the Textile and Light Industry (SOYUZLEGPROM) and the Russian Tanning and Shoe Union.
