MINSK, 14 May (BelTA) – Riga hosted a meeting of the Belarus-Latvia mixed commission for international road transportation on 12 to 13 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting discussed the development of the two-way road transportation activities, implementation of the intergovernmental agreement amending the agreement on international road transportation, and road freight quotas for 2015-2016.
Partaking in the meeting were Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Belarus in Latvia Yaroslav Mitskevich, head of the department for international transport and regulatory management system of road and urban passenger transportation of the Belarusian Ministry of Transport and Communications Gennady Aleksiyan, and the leading specialist of the division for transport policy management and logistics of the association of international road carriers BAMAP Vitaly Savich.
