MINSK, 19 April (BelTA) – Retail trade in Belarus in Q1 2018 reached Br9.8 billion, up by 9.7% in comparable prices versus Q1 2017, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee.
Wholesale trade totaled Br21 billion, up by 8.1% in comparable prices from Q1 2017.
In January-March 2018, retail sales per capita made up Br11.5 as against Br9.9 in Q1 2017.
Retail trade by trade companies accounted for 88.8% of the total and amounted to Br8.7 billion, up by 112% in comparable prices.
In Q1 2018, trade by public catering facilities totaled Br548.7 million and saw an increase of 12.4% in comparable prices versus the same period a year prior.
