MINSK, 12 February (BelTA) – The refinancing rate will go down from 9% to 8.75% on 19 February. The overnight lending rate will be cut from 10% to 9.75% per annum and the overnight deposit rate - from 8% to 7.75% per annum, BelTA has learned from the website of the National Bank.
These decisions were made by the Board of the National Bank following today's meeting on the monetary policy. The next meeting is scheduled for 13 May 2020.
The last time the refinancing rate was reduced in Belarus was 20 November. Then the rate was cut form from 9.5% to 9% per annum.
