MINSK, 3 July (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia needs to improve their investment climate, State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota said in an interview to the Belarus One TV channel, BelTA has learned.
“It is highly important to pay attention to the development of science and technology, create a good investment climate. These are the tasks for Belarus and Russia. If they are addressed, and I believe it is vital today, we will have a bright future,” noted Grigory Rapota.
The State Secretary of the Union State said that six concepts of new projects in medicine, biotechnologies, space, microelectronics, material science and mechanical engineering have been approved in the Union State. Innovative projects for these sectors will be implemented in the real economic sector and industry of the two countries.
Grigory Rapota attended the Independence Day parade in Minsk on 3 July as an invited guest. The State Secretary of the Union State stated that it is comfortable for him to work in Belarus. “People in your country are understanding and responsive,” he noted.
