Dushanbe, 15 June (BelTA-Khovar) - Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Tajikistan Sharif Said met with a Belarusian economic delegation led by Councillor of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Tajikistan Viktor Polyanin on 15 June.

Sharif Said praised the positive trends in bilateral economic relations, and said that he sees dynamics in the Tajik-Belarusian business climate. He also welcomed active work of the intergovernmental commission Tajikistan-Belarus. “Belarusian products are of high quality. They are well known not only in our country but also abroad,” said the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Tajikistan.

“Cooperation agreements have been signed between the Chambers of Commerce of Tajikistan and Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Minsk, Mogilev, Vitebsk, Brest and Gomel regions. The business communities of the two countries develop cooperation at the regional level. The main thing is that our country has created a favorable investment climate, offers privileges and preferences for foreign investors,” Sharif Said noted.

The Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Tajikistan also invited the Belarusian business community to participate in the international expo Tajikistan 2016 which will be held in Dushanbe on 22-24 July.
