MINSK, 20 February (BelTA) - The National Center for Marketing and the Global India Business Forum held a video conference on the prospects for cooperation between Belarus and India in science, technology, education and information technology, BelTA learned from the press service of the center.
During the event, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus presented the latest developments, including for healthcare, water purification and agriculture. The Chemical Synthesis and Biotechnology research center presented a project to produce biological preparations for plant protection and restoration of soil fertility, taking into account the needs of the Indian market.
Achievements in the IT industry were shared by the Hi-Tech Park. The Education Ministry spoke about the higher education programs in Belarus for applicants from India and other promising formats of interaction. The representative of the Free Economic Zone Brest briefed Indian partners about the preferences provided to its residents.
The National Center for Marketing reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the development of contacts between the business communities of both countries.
