GOMEL, 9 December (BelTA) - India is interested in promoting Belarusian goods in its market, Chairman of the Indian Union of Trade and Industry Promotion Organizations Priyanshu Jha told the media on the sidelines of the Business Days in Gomel on 9 December, BelTA has learned.
Priyanshu Jha said that the Business Days in Gomel are another opportunity to work out new options for Belarusian-Indian cooperation, particularly with Gomel Oblast. “There are good relations between Belarus and India. We do not have any sanctions. My goal here is to promote Belarusian products in the Indian market so that there are more Belarusian goods in India, in different sectors and industries,” he said.
This is not the first time that the chairman of the Indian Union of Trade and Industry Promotion Organizations has participated in such a forum. There are already results of bilateral interaction. “They pertain Belarus in general. We can take tourism as an example. People come to Belarus, get familiar not only with tourist but also with industrial facilities of Belarus,” he said.
Business Days in Gomel united representatives of 20 countries in full-time and online format. Taking part in the forum are the authorities of Gomel Oblast, Gomel, representatives of diplomatic missions, chambers of commerce and industry, business associations, and businessmen interested in cooperation. The topic of this year's Business Days is “Transformation of Business Opportunities, Strategic Planning: Response to the Challenges of Time, New Growth Points.
