GOMEL, 27 September (BelTA) – A presentation of the economic, investment, and tourism potential of Gomel Oblast will take place in the Business and Cultural Complex of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia in Moscow on 28 September, the press service of the Gomel Oblast administration told BelTA.
Representatives of government agencies, diplomatic institutions, and business circles of the Moscow region are expected to take part in the event.
Gomel Oblast will be represented by a number of enterprises and companies, including the free economic zone Gomel Raton, the Gomel Technopark, enterprises of the Gomel meat and dairy holding company, the confectionery manufacturer Spartak, the Gomel distillery Radamir, OAO Krasny Mozyryanin, OAO 8 Marta, several light industry enterprises.
Plans have been made to arrange business negotiations on various topics and a plenary session, during which investment projects will be presented.
The Russian Federation is the main foreign trade partner of Gomel Oblast. Russia accounts for 59% of the oblast’s foreign trade.
