VITEBSK, 21 March (BelTA) – Representatives of the Administration and businessmen of Lodz Province, Poland, are expected to pay a visit to Vitebsk Oblast on 21-25 March, BelTA learned from the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee.
The business trip will include a tour of the region’s companies with a view to establishing mutually beneficial cooperation in the food (meat products) and light industries, physical education (sports equipment), drone tracking and security systems, building materials and pipeline systems, environment (area landscaping), and tourism. The visit envisages the signing of cooperation agreements.
Poland is showing interest in establishing business contacts with companies of Vitebsk and Orsha. The program of the visit will include business meetings with company managers and local authorities. The meeting in the Orsha District Executive Committee is scheduled for 22 March, the one in Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee – 24 March.
The Polish delegation will comprise the Vice Marshall of Lodz Province, the director of the Lodz Regional Development Agency, business managers and regional MPs.
The business visit is aimed at implementing the agreement on cooperation that was concluded between Vitebsk Oblast and the Lodz Regional Development Agency.
