MINSK, 13 September (BelTA) - Belarus and Russia are working out a scheme to transport potash fertilizers, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said in an intreview to Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA has learned.
“We are working very closely with the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Russian railroads, owners of cargo terminals. We are working out, as we did for oil products, the most optimal scheme,” said Roman Golovchenko
The prime minister explained that it is much more difficult to transport potash fertilizers than petroleum products because of their larger volume. “We have worked out an appropriate scheme for the transportation of petroleum products very fast. We will find a solution for potash fertilizers, as well as for all other Belarusian products shipped through sea ports,” the head of government said.
