MINSK, 6 January (BelTA) – A Belarusian-Chinese joint venture to make diesel engines may be set up in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone. The idea was discussed in Beijing on 5 January, representatives of the Embassy of Belarus in China told BelTA.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Kirill Rudy met with Weichai Corporation Vice President Xu Hong, Weichai International Vice President Lang Hua, and other specialists of the company that deal with the implementation of joint projects in Belarus.
During the meeting the sides discussed topical aspects of cooperation between Weichai Group and the Belarusian automobile engineering company MAZ in setting up a joint venture to make diesel engines in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone.
