MINSK, 12 August (BelTA) — Over 7 million tonnes of grain, including rapeseed, has been threshed in Belarus, BelTA learned from the Agriculture and Food Ministry.
As of 12 August, 7.066 million tonnes of grain (including rapeseed) was harvested, which includes 6.010 million tonnes of cereals and leguminous crops (87% of the area under these crops) and 1.056 million tonnes of winter rapeseed.
The regional breakdown is the following: Minsk Oblast harvested 1.916 million tonnes of grain (including rapeseed), Grodno Oblast – 1.619 million tonnes, Brest Oblast – 1.568 million tonnes, Mogilev Oblast – 761,200 tonnes, Gomel Oblast – 671,300 tonnes and Vitebsk Oblast – 560,000 tonnes.
