MINSK, 6 August (BelTA) - More than 6.3 million tonnes of grain, including rapeseed, has been threshed in Belarus, BelTA learned from the Agriculture and Food Ministry.
As of 6 August, 6.390 million tonnes of grain (including rapeseed) was harvested, which includes 5.337 million tonnes of cereals and leguminous crops and 1.053 tonnes of winter rapeseed.
The regional breakdown is the following: Minsk Oblast harvested 1.723 million tonnes of grain (including rapeseed), Brest Oblast 1.459 million tonnes, Grodno Oblast 1.428 million tonnes, Mogilev Oblast 670,400 tonnes, Gomel Oblast 627,000 tonnes, Vitebsk Oblast 482,000 tonnes.
As to other crops, 84% of spring barley, 81.9% of winter rye, 75.6% of wheat, 72.4% of oats, 70.3% of triticale, 55.3% of legumes were harvested.
Meanwhile, flax was pulled from 38,100 hectares, which is 85% of the area under this crop.
