MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) - More than 500 companies will participate in the Belagro 2017 agricultural expo, Belarus Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Leonid Marinich told the media on 5 June, BelTA has learned.
“One of the features of this year’s expo is the number of participants: 507 companies from 25 countries and 21 official foreign delegations,” Leonid Marinich said.
Belagro 2017 will be held in the trade and logistic center Globus in the agro-town Shchomyslitsa, Minsk District on 6-10 June. For the first time, the expo will be held in one venue. The indoor premises will cover 8,000 square meters, the open-air expo will occupy 42,000 square meters,” said Leonid Marinich.
In his words, taking part in this year’s forum will be Bellegprom, Belneftekhim, the Ministry of Architecture and Construction, and other companies. “This proves that the exhibition enjoys a great popularity inside the country,” the first deputy minister said.
According to Leonid Marinich, the expo will feature themed workshops: “There will be more than 20 of them. They will mainly be held on 7-8 June. The workshops will be useful in gaining new knowledge, sharing experience and new technologies,” he said.
