MINSK, 15 September (BelTA) – A delegation of businessmen from Oman led by Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Saeed Al Kiyumi will visit Belarus on 17-21 September,
Spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing on 15 September, BelTA has learned.The delegation will include over 40 big Omani businessmen. They are working in investment, banking, construction, food production and agriculture, manufacturing, mining, insurance, financial consulting, transport services, retail trade, hospitality business, and tourism.
“Such a strong business delegation will visit our country for the first time,”
Dmitry Mironchik said. “The program of the visit includes meetings at a number of government agencies, the Belarus-Oman business council, individual talks with the representatives of the Belarusian business, visits to a number of enterprises.”It is expected that after the visit the sides will determine concrete avenues of developing trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the countries for the near future.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the visit was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of the efforts to boost export and diversify sales markets for Belarusian products.
