Over 250 companies from 13 countries featured at online Spring in Gomel exhibition

MINSK, 2 June (BelTA) -  More than 250 companies from 13 countries are taking part in the virtual 21st edition of the international exhibition called as Spring in Gomel, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).

The company's online platform features 11 different industries (food, engineering, woodworking, metalworking, construction, engineering, chemical and petrochemical products, light industry, banking, legal and insurance services, etc.) and 13 countries (Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Germany, Serbia, Slovakia, Croatia, Georgia, India, China and Lithuania). Thirteen chambers of commerce and industry, six free economic zones of Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Serbia have joined the project.

The virtual version of the exhibition includes three main venues. Business Spring offers webinars, product presentations and enterprise services, B2B online talks. Delicious Spring presents restaurants, cafes, bars and retail. Gomel Spring is a place for arts where artisans are showcasing their works.

The organizers have already held a press conference for the national and regional media, a roundtable with the heads of the chambers of commerce and business unions of six countries and five webinars on topical issues for business. Representatives of more than 70 Belarusian and foreign enterprises and organizations took part in the events. Marina Filonova, Director General of the BelCCI Gomel Branch, took part in the first international online forum R2R (Region-to-Region) organized by the Samara Chamber of Commerce and Industry. More than 50 participants joined the conference, including representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investment of Samara Oblast, chambers of commerce and industry, exporting enterprises of Belarus, Russia and other countries. Following the talks, the BelCCI Gomel Branch made a decision to participate in the summer sessions of the forum with the regions of France, the Netherlands and Iran scheduled for July of this year.

The Gomel Spring online platform features presentations of 74 participants with contact and social networks information, photos of art works in 10 sectors: woodwork, children's toys, clothing, decor, ceramics, natural cosmetics, interior items, accessories, jewelry, farmers’ food and eco-products.

Electronic business cards of the Delicious Spring participants contain the information about restaurants, cafes and confectioneries. Photos of interior, dishes, and presentations provide an opportunity to channel the atmosphere of each of the 10 participants of the online gastro-fest.

The online exhibition at http://vesna.ccigomel.by will be running until 10 June.
