MINSK, 3 April (BelTA) – Nizhny Novgorod Oblast of Russia is interested in Belarusian dairy and meat products, Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko told journalists after the session of the Belarus-Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Business Cooperation Council on 3 April, BelTA has learned.
Belarus-made meat and dairy products are in demand in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. “We have agreed to find some new forms and methods of delivering these products to the Russian region,” Vladimir Semashko said. Besides, the participants of the session discussed the ways of increasing the supplies of Belarusian farm machines and vehicle kits to Nizhny Novgorod Oblast and strengthening the bilateral cooperation in science and education in 2015.
Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Governor Valery Shantsev pointed out that in 2014 the import of Belarus-made farm machines rose and the trend will continue. He added that the sides agreed to bolster their cooperation in manufacturing, including in joint production of sophisticated technology products. Special working groups will be set up for this purpose.
