National world-class innovations to be displayed at Belarusian Industrial Forum

MINSK, 27 April (BelTA) – National world-level innovations will be presented at the Belarusian Industrial Forum in Minsk, Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee Alexander Shumilin told media on 27 April, BelTA has learned.

World-class innovations are developed in Belarus. Some of them will be displayed at the exhibition. Among them, for example, will be a device for wet cleaning of ventilation air from harmful organic matters. The device was developed by the Belarusian National Technical University. The plant secures a high level of purification – up to 99%. The exhibition will also feature a sample of a new-generation equipment to disinfect medical waste, a universal robotic center and automated equipment for compressing, hermetic encapsulation and cementation (projects of the Belarusian State University).

Alexander Shumilin also spoke about some solutions of the National Academy of Sciences which will be presented at the forum. Among them will be a new composite magnetic material which replaces laminated electromagnetic steel in such products as transformers, high-speed motors, diesel generators. Using this material reduces production costs 2 to 3 times. The Academy of Sciences will also present the devices to determine the physical and mechanical properties of construction materials without sampling, for example, the strength and hardness of asphalt, concrete and other building materials.

Belarusian Industrial Forum is a large scale international exhibition project designed as a unique platform for dialogue between representatives of industrial corporations, banks, small and medium-sized businesses, and science. This year it will be held on 3-6 May. Attending the forum will be more than 200 exhibitors: leading representatives of all sectors of the domestic and foreign industries. The forum will have a busy business program: roundtables, conferences, presentations on the most pressing issues of the industry. At least 30 long-term agreements are expected to be signed during the forum.
