MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) – The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) will present over 200 cutting-edge projects at the international industrial forum Expo-Russia Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the NASB.
Twenty-six NASB organizations will take part in the expo which will take place in Minsk on 24-26 November. Scientists will showcase cutting-edge projects in the energy sector, machine building, transport, communications, medicine, pharmaceutics, the press release of the press service reads. The NASB stand will cover the area of 100 square meters. The NASB research center for agricultural mechanization will present an open-air exposition with the total area of 360 square meters.
Apart from that, NASB scientists and specialists will take part in the events of the business program of the expo and the Minsk Business Forum. A round table organized jointly with the Education Ministry of Belarus will take place on 25 November. It will be attended by the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, heads and specialists of the NASB and the Belarusian Education Ministry. The participants of the event will discuss the prospects of cooperation of Belarus and Russia in science, higher education and vocational training, cooperation in the development of scientific and technical programs within the framework of Union State programs in radio electronics, IT and space technologies.
The international industrial forum Expo-Russia Belarus will take place at the national expo pavilion in Minsk on 24-26 November. The event is timed to the 15th anniversary of the signing of the Union State Treaty. The expo aims to promote the economic, scientific, technical, cultural, political cooperation between Russia and Belarus, the establishment and enhancement of ties between countries, development of common business, trade, economic and investment relations, strengthening of business contacts between partners.
