MINSK, 7 June (BelTA) – Four Belarusian dairy companies have had more products certified for export to China, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in China.
The agreement was reached on 7 June at the meeting between Belarus’ Ambassador to China Kirill Rudy and Belarus Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Ivan Smilgin and Vice Minister of the Chinese General Administration of Customs Wang Lingjun. The parties discussed the issues related to the access to the Chinese market for Belarusian products. Four Belarusian dairies have had more products certified for export. OAO Molochnye Gorki and Bobruiskmoloko will export sterilized milk to China. Nesvizh Baby Food Factory and the Soligorsk branch of Slutsk Creamery will supply pasteurized milk. The renewed list of certified Belarusian dairies has been published on the website of the Chinese General Administration of Customs.
Kirill Rudy and Ivan Smilgin attended the opening ceremony of the IV China-CEEC Dialogue on Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine in Ningbo. The Belarusian officials met with the party leadership of the city of Ningbo and discussed bilateral cooperation in various fields, including trade, mechanical engineering, regional cooperation of Minsk Oblast and Zhejiang Province of China. Belarus’ National Pavilion in Ningbo aims to popularize Belarusian culture, to promote export of Belarusian goods and services.
