MINSK, 16 July (BelTA) - Moldova is interested in organizing a joint venture with Belarus to assemble road-building machinery, construction equipment, utility vehicles, Director of OOO Auto-Prezent Vladimir Orgetkin told reporters in the run-up to the Belarusian-Moldovan Business Forum, BelTA has learned.
"We want to organize a joint assembly facility for road-building machinery, construction equipment, utility vehicles in Moldova with the participation of the Belarusian companies such as MAZ, Amkodor, Beldortekhnika. We have experience in carrying out such works and major industrial capacities,” said Vladimir Orgetkin.
According to him, Moldova needs such equipment as it is currently implementing numerous government programs that are financed both from the budget and also by donor organizations.
Today Minsk is hosting the Belarusian-Moldovan Business Forum as Moldova President Nicolae Timofti is visiting Belarus. The program provides for the plenary meeting and bilateral negotiations between representatives of the two countries' business.
