Minsk to host Food Prom Confectionery symposium on 24-25 May

MINSK, 29 December (BelTA) - The international symposium of confectioners Food Prom Confectionery will take place in Minsk on 24-25 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian state food industry concern Belgospishcheprom.

The symposium will discuss the most topical issues of industrial development of the confectionery market in Belarus, Russia and EAEU countries, global trends, best practices of leading companies, changes of consumer preferences in pandemic conditions, standardization and technical regulation issues, and many more.

The event aims at solving the issues of integration, practical interaction, experience exchange, prospects for the development of confectionery industry, familiarization with industry innovations and achievements in technology and equipment, establishment of direct contacts with producers, retailers and suppliers, popularization of domestic goods and finding ways to increase export potential.

The symposium will feature discussions, round tables, informal meetings. There will also be an exhibition of manufacturers and suppliers of raw materials and equipment for the confectionery industry.

The symposium is organized by the Belgospishcheprom, the Baker&Confectioner magazine with the support of the Agriculture and Food Ministry, and the Scientific and Practical Center for Foodstuffs of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
