MINSK, 31 October (BelTA) – The first Belarusian-Latvian tourism business forum will take place in Minsk on 10 November, BelTA learned from the organizers.
The event will be held as part of the Days of Latvia in Belarus “Taste Latvia” and also a working visit of Latvian Economy Minister Arvils Aseradens to Minsk. The minister will attend the tourism forum organized by the Latvian office of foreign economic relations in Belarus and the Latvian Embassy in Minsk.
“The participants in the forum will be updated on the plans and prospects for the development of Latvia’s tourism industry, and informed about the tourism products offered in Riga, Jurmala, and the regions of Semigallia, Courland, Latgale, and Vidzeme. The forum will be a good opportunity to establish contacts with the leading travel companies of Latvia. The program of the forum includes presentations by the Riga Tourism Development Bureau (Live Riga) and Jurmala City Council’s tourism department,” the organizers said.
The program also includes a business matchmaking session.
