MINSK, 21 December (BelTA) – The Belarus-Pakistan Agricultural Forum will be held in Minsk in June 2018, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Pakistan.
Islamabad hosted the second Belarus-Pakistani forum of young scientists organized by the Institute of Information Technology at the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Academy of Sciences of Pakistan.
The Belarusian delegation included young scientists of the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB), the NASB Institute of Physical Organic Chemistry, the NASB research center for material sciences, Belarusian State University, Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Belarusian National Technical University, Yanka Kupala Grodno State University, and Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine. The Belarusian delegates made presentations and exchanged relevant information with Pakistani colleagues.
On the margins of the forum the Belarusian delegation held talks with the leadership of the Pakistan Academy of Sciences and the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council. During the talks the Belarusian scientists, representing the agricultural sector, and Pakistani counterparts discussed concrete projects that could be submitted for consideration of the parties in the course of the forthcoming second Belarus-Pakistan Agricultural Forum during the Belagro 2018 international expo due in June 2018.
