MINSK, 1 November (BelTA) – There are plans to resume the direct Minsk-Novosibirsk air service, Director General of Minsk National Airport Dmitry Melikyan told the media on 1 November, BelTA has learned.
“As for Novosibirsk the flight will be launched in the summer. This is the joint project of the Minsk National Airport, Belavia air carrier and S7 Airline (Siberia). The flight will be performed by S7. The decision has already been made,” Dmitry Melikyan said.
Dmitry Melikyan noted that this will be the S7/Belavia code-share flight. “The airport has provided preferential conditions to make this flight happen. I hope it will be successful for S7. We, on behalf of the Belarusian side, will make every effort for this. There is a demand for transportation services between our regions, between the cities of Minsk and Novosibirsk,” he stressed.
