MINSK, 8 June (BelTA) - Minsk Motor Plant intends to increase exports by more than 12%, Director General Aleksandr Rogozhnik said during the Belagro 2022 expo, BelTA learned from the press service of Minsk Motor Plant.
Minsk Motor Plant has displayed its advanced engines MMZ-2LD, gas-diesel MMZ-3LGDT, D-246.4, MMZ-4DTI, D-262.2S2, GD-243, diesel engine generator set MDG, and a compressor train station and a diesel pumping unit produced by Gomel starting motors plant.
After the grand opening of the exhibition the exposition of Minsk Motor Plant was visited by Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Nazarov and Industry Minister Piotr Parkhomchik. The director general of Minsk Motor Plant told the visitors about the company's achievements.
“The fulfillment of key sales indicators in the first five months of the year let us look into the future with optimism and speak about effective work of the company. This is a prerequisite for investing into development of new products, for moral and material incentives for employees and for comprehensive modernization of production,” he said.
According to the results of the previous year Minsk Motor Plant successfully fulfilled all its social and economic development indicators and increased exports by almost 12%. “The company is showing positive momentum this year as well. The demand for sales of special-purpose machinery is steadily on the rise. Over five months, the sales grew by more than 3.5 times,” Aleksandr Rogozhnik said.
This year the plant is set to increase its exports by 12%. “This indicator has been put forward by the government, but we expect that we will surpass it. Our participation in Belagro is a good opportunity to demonstrate our new products to our regular customers, to surprise our potential customers and to conclude new contracts,” he said.
On the first day of the exhibition the Minsk Motor Plant exposition was visited by partners from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary. A delegation from Khakassia was interested in both engines and diesel generator sets.
Minsk Motor Plant specializes in the development, design and manufacture of modern three-, four-, six- and eight-cylinder engines. The company produces more than 100 modifications of engines ranging from 7 to 330 kW, designed for agricultural, road-building and harvesting equipment, trucks and buses, power plants, compressors and other units. Minsk Motor Plant engines are supplied to 49 enterprises in Belarus, CIS and non-CIS countries. The plant sells to more than 50 countries.
