MINSK, 8 May (BelTA) – Over the first two months in 2015 Minsk companies exported almost $900,000 worth of services to China, BelTA learnt from the economy committee of the Minsk City Hall.
In January-February 2015 the export of Minsk services to China totaled $889,000 (a 47.6% increase), while the import made up $716,300 (7.2%). Transport ($329,700) and tourist ($147,500) services topped Minsk exports to China.
Minsk supplies to China timber, electronic integrating circuits and chip assembles, geodesic and topographic devices, motor parts. China exports to Minsk telephone sets, footwear, computer systems, fruit and nuts.
At present there are 45 companies with the Chinese participation in Minsk (10 joint ventures and 35 foreign firms). Apart from that a big number of Chinese-Belarusian projects are being implemented in the Belarusian capital. Among them is the construction of the residential area Lebyazhy and the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park Great Stone.
According to the investment project, a total of 33 accommodation units will be built in the residential area Lebyazhy. The investor has already commissioned about 6,000 square meters of offices and 37,100 square meters of dwelling.
